Juniper wood cradling vibrant red indian paintbrush wildflowers on a spring morning in Arches National Park near Moab, Utah.
I went hiking a couple weeks ago and spotted the first wildflower of the season; a scraggly little indian paintbrush. You know what that means? The desert is about to come alive! Now, in all fairness, we had a dry winter and spring isn’t exactly off to a moist start so what our wildflower season will look like, is anyone’s guess. But, wildflowers are wildflowers, and I’m always excited to photograph them.
